To read out loud

Ever since I read training Carrie I have something about reading out loud. It's strange and intimate.
Poetry is made for reading out loud. I love to find a poem that completely surprises me.

I think she likes it as well

  1. I have found that the entire meaning of a poem can change depending on who's reading it...tone of voice, inflection, emphasis...all play a role. Thanks for sharing the lovely picture, Han.

    1. It does. Depend on who and how the story or poem is told, it truly does change the meaning of the poem. I once went to those festivals where poets read their own poetry in a noisy room full of people and it changed the way I felt about the poem in an instant.
I'm more the one on one kind of guy.

  2. Ahhhh...a warm bubble bath, being read to...she is one very lucky lady. Think I need to pick an opportune time to have a bubble bath, leave a poetry book nearby and need help to wash my back.......

    1. You liked it, I suppose. I like it as well, very much so. The quiet of the bathroom, the sounds of the water and the beauty of words.
