Say please

The text on the sign says
(left) Biscuit 1 euro 50
Biscuit please 1 euro

(right) Croissant 0,75 euro
Croissant please 0,50 euro

Say "please" and "thank you", they learn it all over again in Utrecht highschool. And with a little humour you can reach goals that seem unattainable without them.

  1. How creative...but I have to wonder being familiar with that stubborn age group...how many will pay the extra just to prove that nobody can make then say please.

    1. I'm afraid the youngsters have no sense of value of money so you might be right, there will be a group that pays instead of saying please.

Still it's a funny way to raise the subject in a moral value discussion in school...

      I think.

  2. Manners are often absent these days, it would be interesting to see how this worked.

    1. Like I said to Abby, some people have been given the bad example for a long time and copy what they see. Friends, Family or just plain adolescence.

      I think,
