Autumn leaves

Autumn is so beautiful. I love the richness of the colours. My eyes feast on all variations of green and brown and red and yellow... I love the shortening of the days that makes you feel warm and safe at home. Some love spring. I like spring. I love Autumn.

  2. Autumn is a beautiful time of year. It's all about change. The colours of the leaves changing is wonderful. I appreciate this natural cycle more as I grow older.

Thanks for sharing Frank's song with us. It's so fitting!

  3. Autumn is my favorite. We have a state park near by...called the Grand Canyon of the East....Master and i spent Monday there...it was gorgeous...what a wonderful day.... I love living where there are 4 distinct seasons, if only winter only lasted 2 weeks, it would be perfect. Thanks for the song. Sinatra always makes me swoon.

    1. Nah, two weeks winter is much too short, Abby. But the climate change makes all seasons look alike.

  4. Count me in also! I love the colors of Autumn along with the crisp morning air and cooler days. I'm with Abby...two weeks of winter would be plenty...could actually take my vacation time and hibernate or leave town! :D

    Thanks for sharing Frank's song.

    Hugs and blessings...Cat

  5. Beautiful song, beautiful picture. Unfortunately, here the leaves don't turn color that way - it's the price you pay for living in a warmer climate.
I'm not too crazy about the shorter days - I'm ready for bed much too early which means I wake up earlier the next day. It's a vicious cycle.

  6. Thanks for sharing this beautiful song, and photo, Han! :) Autumn is also my very favourite season. There is something about not only the colours, but the smells, as one walks around- fires in the fireplaces, apples baking, etc. Then you have apple picking- how I love fresh apples from the trees. Mostly there is the crisp air that feels so good. Not too cold, but just right. Probably the only thing that doesn't thrill me is the shorter days. Other than that, bring on the comfort food- and the nice autumn beverages. LOL! Many hugs,

    <3 Katie
